Why seaweed?

Seaweed absorbs gases and nutrients from seawater via osmosis in order to survive and nourish themselves. These nutrients are transferred to the body when used during the treatment and assist the body to detoxify and nourish the skin.
The seaweed contains minerals, a variety of vitamins and amino acids.

Hydro active mineral salts are made of sea salt, essential oils kelp and gentle enzymes. Sandalwood, lavender, lemon and tea tree are some of the essential oils used.

Skin Improving seaweed wrap with Elixia Therapy

This luxurious treatment includes a body brush, a light massage and an application of a seaweed mask to either the whole body or to specific problem areas. You will then be wrapped up for 20 minutes whilst the seaweed mud gently heats.
